1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, smartphone or other device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your browser, remember preferences and improve your browsing experience.
We also use similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, to analyze the performance of the website and offer more relevant content.
2. Why we use cookies
Popconvert uses cookies to:
- Ensure the secure and stable operation of the platform
- Improve performance and the user experience
- Understand how visitors interact with the website
- Remember preferences, language and account settings
- Support marketing campaigns and measure results
3. Types of cookies we use
Essential cookies
Necessary for the basic operation of the platform and for user authentication.
Functional cookies
Allow the website to remember your preferences, such as language and login.
Analytics cookies
Help us understand how visitors use the website, allowing us to optimize content and navigation. We use Google Analytics (GA4), from Google, and Umami (Umami Cloud), which measures use of the website and, according to the provider, is designed to work without cookies.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, from Microsoft, which generates heatmaps and session recordings so we can understand how people use the pages and improve the interface. Clarity may set its own cookies and masks form fields by default.
These three tools (Google Analytics, Umami and Clarity) are only loaded with your consent if you are in the European Economic Area, the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. In other regions they are loaded by default, and you can refuse them at any time.
Marketing cookies
Used to offer relevant content and measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party services integrated into the platform, such as Stripe. These third parties are responsible for their own privacy policies and cookie practices.
Popconvert has no control over external cookies created by scripts or integrations added by customers themselves on their websites.
5. How to manage cookies
On the first visit, people in the regions above see a notice with the options Accept all, Reject and Customize. At any time, in any country, you can change or withdraw your choice in Cookie preferences, in the website footer. The choice is stored in your browser (local storage), and withdrawing consent deletes the measurement cookies already created.
You can adjust your browser settings to accept, refuse or delete cookies at any time. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the platform.
Popconvert also provides tools for its customers to manage cookie consents on their own websites and landing pages, as required by the LGPD and the GDPR.
6. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect legal or technological changes. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
