Cookies Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that may be placed on your computer or portable device by websites or web services that You use. They are used to ensure the proper functioning of websites and other online services, as well as to provide information to the owners of the website or online service.

What are cookies for?

Cookies are used to improve the use and functionality of the Popconvert website and to better understand how our visitors use our website and online service, as well as the tools and services offered by them. Cookies facilitate the process of adapting the Contractor’s website to their personal needs, facilitating their use and receiving feedback on the satisfaction of our consumers whenever possible.

Popconvert may also use other tracking technologies similar to Cookies, which may collect information such as IP addresses, log files and web beacons, among others. This data is also used to help us adapt the Popconvert website and service to your personal needs.

What kind of cookies are there?

There are two groups of cookies that can be used:

Permanent cookies – these are cookies that are stored at the browser level on the access equipment (PC, mobile and tablet) and that are used whenever you use the Popconvert software. They are generally used to direct navigation to the user’s interests, allowing a more personalized service.

Session cookies – these are temporary cookies that remain in your browser’s cookie file until you leave the website. The information obtained by these cookies is used to analyze web traffic patterns, allowing problems to be identified and providing a better browsing experience.

Classification of cookies we use

There are different ways to classify a cookie. Popconvert works with the following classification:

● Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are necessary to provide basic functionality while you browse the website. Without these cookies, the experience and navigation may be impaired.

● Functional cookies

Functional cookies are used to provide a more personalized experience on pages. With these cookies, it is possible to remember choices that You make when using the website and prevent information from being filled in multiple times. For example, when submitting a form a cookie is recorded in the Lead’s browser containing the information. So when You log in again, this information will already be pre-populated.

● Analytics and performance cookies

Analysis and performance cookies help to collect information, monitor events and analyze traffic on pages, as well as identify and understand Their origin and behavior. The information collected by these cookies is used primarily in aggregate form to assist us in analyzing website performance results.

Advertising Cookies

Advertising cookies are used for marketing purposes, allowing you to target the ads that appear to you based on your interests. The goal is to make advertising content more relevant to you, improve reporting on campaign performance, and avoid showing ads you’ve already seen. Type of Cookies

●  Advertising: Distribute targeted/behavioral advertising.

●  Market Studies: Conduct market studies.

●  Campaign / Promotion: Measure campaign effectiveness.

●  Fraud Detection: Detect click fraud.

Google Analytics Cookies

Popconvert’s cookies control only controls cookies created within the tool itself. If the Contractor has scripts on its website that send data to Google Analytics or create cookies, Popconvert will not be able to control it.

If the Contractor has an integration between his Popconvert account and Google Analytics, the Landing Pages, Pop-up and Forms created within our tool, in addition to the pages of his website with tracking code, will send information to Google Analytics and will create cookies to identify:

● Unique visitors;

● Data configured by URL (source, media, campaign, search term, and content).

How can we manage cookies?

When you accept cookies from popconvert, a cookie is installed on your browser with the aim of identifying you in the next session and thus allowing you to display the pop-up or not, based on the Contractor’s campaign settings.

A tool is made available to Contractors that allows them to collect Your consent for the use of Popconvert cookies. This tool can be used on Landing Pages and also on the Contractor’s website, as long as the tracking code is installed.

On Landing Pages, this functionality controls Popconvert cookies and also Google Analytics cookies. For this, it is necessary that Google Analytics is configured in your tool.

After configuring the cookie control functionality, Landing Pages only use cookies from Popconvert and Google Analytics when You click on Accept Cookies.

It is important to note that Popconvert’s control over the use of cookies will have no effect on those inserted via script in advanced editions or customized HTML elements of the page.

On the pages of the Contractor’s website that have tracking code, the cookie consent solution will control the cookies created by Popconvert and all communication with Google Analytics of Pop-ups and Forms. The item below provides detailed explanations on this point.

It is important to remember that it is up to you whether or not you consent to the use of cookies.

Most browsers allow You to set rules to warn You before accepting Cookies or simply rejecting them. We recommend that You see the “help” button in your browser on how to perform this type of configuration. Please note that if You use different browsers, or even different computers and/or handheld devices in different locations, You will need to ensure that each device and browser is set to your personal Cookie preferences.

Although most Internet browsers are initially set to automatically accept cookies, you can change your settings to block these cookies or to alert you when cookies are sent to your device. It should be noted that if cookies have been disabled or removed, not all features of the Contractor’s website will be able to function as intended.

This Cookie Policy does not cover the use of Cookies by third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy policies and practices. Please be aware that Cookies placed by

third parties may occasionally track your online activities even after you have left our Services.
